World cup - Holiday month for Netas and Actors !!

Eventually we won !! Dhoni and his boys had the nerve to last till the end and succeed.

Congrats Team India.

Now what follows is the key, or letme put it this way, Was there any lesson learnt from this win? If nothing then atleast the teamwork and integrity towards one goal is probably everybody should learn from it. Ecspecially it goes without saying that our political babus and netas can take a leaf out of this achievment. Each team member of this great Indian team had their own differences and agreements but they all wanted one thing to happen and that is winning a world cup and nothing less than that. If such a goal can make our team do wonders, a much bigger goal like "Visioning a Developed India"  should surely bring our politicians together to work towards the common goal, irrespective of their differences. Unfortunately it doesn't !!

If the ruling party is immersed in the myriads of corruption cases then the opposition wants to make sure that they capitalizeand focus in destablizing the government. So what if they had their own elements involved in corruptions, according to them it's not comparable to the scale of corruption the ruling part is involved in. Well the concept of using different scales for different forms of corruption is something which Indian politicians can be proud owners of.

I was actually happy for the last couple of days when the Political babus and netas hardly got any attention they usually get everyday. Hopefully this win makes them realise how to work as a team inspite of your differences. Dhoni coming in at third down was not a decision agreed by the likes of Yuvraj and Kristen but when they thought about the larger picture all looked smooth and fine. Similarly the day when Indian parliamentarians realise the true potential of this country they'll respect the tax payers money and attend the parliament regulary not to take an afternoon nap but to seriously work towards the country's growth.

Looking at them I sincerely wish India had some charismatic leaders like Margaret Thatcher or an Indira Gandhi left to rule this country. I admit that i had played my own share of corruption and probably will have plenty of excuses to justify and shift the blame upwards towards the babus and netas. Maybe taking a small step in minimizing the amount of day to day corruption you get involved would be the right and the apt start.  Well it seems like Im drifting away.

Neverthless Mumbai is again there in news but this time it's more for a happy and joyous reason which acts as a comfort for all the pains the city has witnessed couple of years before. And hopefully mumbai stays in news for all such good reasons in years to come. As Gambhir rightly pointed out "We dedicate this win to the martyrs of 26/11 and the real soldiers of India" whether you agree or not in this, politicians have a diffferent view to it, who are not ready to loose even couple of days of attention and end up doling out more to the rich players just to make their mark in the limelight. Hope the "aam admi" will get his own share too at some point of time. Indians thinking positive has kept this great country alive and steady all these years and even during the turbulent and testing times.

Rejoicing the win and savouring the win is the right thing to do and probably reflecting on the things in store for the future is also not a bad idea to do!! As a matter of fact "a great win is the sign of all good things to come" Go India Go !!
