To all my friends, relatives and well wishers,
Dhanuk and I have recently christened our newly constructed house as "A7, Cartwright Place" and have started living over there. To start with the the house seems to be too big for two people but neverthless it was our choice to have it big -- as it matches to our respective sizes and expectations !! :-)
As you might all have already guessed #7 Cartwright place, Oldbrook, Milton Keynes was the place where Dhanuk and I started our family. The official version of our house christening goes like this. - Cartwirght Place is named after the famous not so legendary medium fast bowler - Tom Cartwright. And since you all know how big a cricket buff I'm, I thought of dedicating the efforts of constructing my house to Mr. Tom cartwright, who unlike me was an excellent medium pace bowler. I just aspired to be one in real but ended up being a wicket- Keeper batsman and only when the captain ( ecspecially Prashant Parab - new city cc Captain) wishes to use my doosras against the clueless English batsmen in and around Milton Keynes, I was able to exhibit my skills.
Probably you might be already aware that the real version has nothing to do with Tom Cartwright ( I sincerley apologise to all disheatened English fans not sure how many of them really know him, atleast not the current gen Eng ppl !!).
By reading the name plate outside the gate for a moment people in Kolhapur would have thought that some foreigners would have invested to buy -an home in the so called "Amchi Hirva kolhapur". But the moment anybody tries to have a peek inside they would surely come to know that its not any foreigners but two poor "foreign returned" souls that live in this house.
Ok now to the best part- Friends I'm uploading few pics of "A7 Cartwright Place" . Would surely love to know your feedback on how does it look. More to follow .........
